Project: THIMBELINA BLOW OFF

Description: Part of a Group Installation entitled Church of Circus, Thimbelina Blow Off  is inspired by old carnival burlesque shows. Installed in a vacant store front, the exhibition investigated objects of devotion within the darker themes of circus entertainment. Once inside the tent visitors encounter three door ways with "peep holes" to view a tableaux of peep show ephemera including a dressing room, theatrical scenery, and a reverse strip-tease.
